1. The majority of human suffering and  premature death is avoidable.

2. It is imperative that individuals be the front line soldiers in protecting their own health. Physicians attend to dozens of patients every day. One cannot expect a typical doctor to devote all the time needed to provide each patient with optimal individualized treatment.

 I have to attend to almost 30 patients in 4 hour a day. I only can offer 5-8 minutes to each patient. How can I expect myself to provide optimal individulized treatment for everyone?

3. It is up to patients and their caregivers to fill this critical void.

4. In order to treat any serious disease in optimal fashion, a myriad of details have to be implemented precisely.  I hope I can treat any serious disease in optimal fasion and implement the details precisely.

5. You should not rely solely on physicians to prescribe and carry out treatment protocols.

6. Patients need to gain a thorough understanding of their health status and the various treatment options open to them, so they can work effecively with their physicians.

7. What you don't know could kill you.  what the doctor don't know could kill the patient.
